We are now looking to hire an experienced and visionary Chief Product Officer to lead our product development in the next phase of our journey. In this role you will own our product vision and drive our strategic product development to deliver superior customer value and an exceptional user experience through use of the latest technologies.
The position of Chief Product Officer
As the Chief Product Officer you are overall responsible for leading No Isolation’s product development, in cooperation with the Director of Engineering and the CEO. Key areas of responsibility include owning the product vision and strategic product roadmap, lead execution of product development, build our product organization and capabilities, and contribute to further developing our customer offering.
No Isolation's Product Vision
- Develop product vision, with a holistic view of how we can support education providers in solving the problem of school absence, deliver high quality education to children that can not physically attend school, and address the broader issue of mental health amongst children and young people
- Identify potential adjacent and step-out product opportunities within the scope of our overall mission, taking into account customer pain-points, societal trends and new technology opportunities
- Act as a visionary thought leader; inspire and challenge the rest of the organization on what we can achieve as a company
- Contribute to communication / discussions with Board of Directors, investors and other stakeholders related to our Product vision and implications for company strategy
Strategic product roadmap
- Own and develop our strategic product roadmap in line with product vision, customer feedback and pain points, and internal business needs
- Engage with customers and our Customer Success professionals to understand customer needs and pain points, and identify new product features / functionality
- Identify and develop new product opportunities to grow our business, such as enabling new commercial / business models and value added services
- Identify new product requirements that needs to be addressed to deliver on our business strategy, e.g., requirements related to entry into new markets
Prioritisation and execution of product development
- Set product development priorities, e.g., on quarterly basis according to customer and business needs, in cooperation with leadership team
- Work with Director of Engineering in sprint planning, balancing progress on strategic development priorities with bug fixing, addressing smaller, incremental improvements
- Establish required processes and decision making fora to ensure efficient execution
- Ensure high quality customer information and communication
Develop customer offering
- Drive strategic thinking on how we can combine our product and value added services (delivered by Customer Success) to develop a high-value solution to customers, and the role and implications of our product in this context
- Identify opportunities for product functionality that can create opportunities for ARR-expansion, and contribute to the commercial models that can realise this value
- Work closely with Customer Success to further develop our customer journey, with particular emphasis and focus on how we can automate and “productify” this in a way that scales across customers and markets
Develop Product capabilities, capacity and execution excellence
- Assess current capabilities and develop plan for building a high performing Product function and organization.
- Set performance standards and requirements to employees and hold them accountable for delivery
- Grow and develop employees through coaching, feedback and training
- Identify capability and capacity gaps and own recruitment
- Improve and as required establish systems, processes and ways of working to support efficient and high quality product development

- Improvement mindset: Constantly seeks opportunities to improve products, processes, and systems and works systematically to enhance product value, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Technical acumen: Strong technical understanding that enables effective collaboration with development teams and seamless prioritisation and execution of product development.
- Customer- and user-centricity: Passionate about creating and maximizing customer value and user experience by delivering innovative solutions tailored to customer and user needs.
- Adaptability: Adept at balancing strategic oversight with operational execution, willingly engaging in detailed tasks when needed.
- Education: Relevant educational qualifications, with a minimum of Masters degree within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), ideally formal education within Software Product Design and Development
